Three things that make us different.

Your ticketing page is the primary touchpoint for your event: practically everyone who attends goes through it. Shouldn't you be expecting more of it?

A social ticketing platform

  • The RSVP list convinces people the event will be epic soon
  • Sell more tickets by posting Event updates soon
  • Built-in word-of-mouth by offering Group tickets

You own the relationship with your audience

  • Invite, email, and text your customers directly
  • No shadow-banning or limiting your invitations
  • Export your attendee list anytime — your data is yours, full stop

A platform built by community organizers for community organizers

  • We worked for some of the largest festivals in North America: Burning Man, BottleRock Napa Valley, Shambhala BC
  • We built some of the products you love and hate most: Lyft, Square, Adobe, Plura
  • We are activists, community organizers, party people, burners, parents. We go to the kind of events we built Ketchup for.

ii.Testimonials

Loved by the people who throw the parties.

Here's why producers choose Ketchup.

Monthly party eventMonthly Parties
"Here's what changed: we were spending hours every event managing ticket transfers manually on Eventbrite. With Ketchup, those transfers happen directly between attendees. We freed up our time to invest in producing the event itself."
William Winters
Annual festival crowdAnnual festival
"1,000+ tickets sold. 39 admission types. 46 extras. 60+ promo codes. Most ticketing systems would buckle under that complexity. Ketchup just worked! Plus, the ability to include images in our accommodation listings was a game-changer for sales."
Troy Dayton
Street fair attendeesStreet fair
"From teenagers to seniors, college students to families, our fair had everyone. Once we had the QR code on our posters, everyone figured out the rest. It is so simple to buy tickets, and the fact that you can find them in your SMS texts is a game-changer!"
Holly Burlet
iii.FAQs

Got a worry? We've heard it.

Two flavors: producer (you're hosting) and attendee (you bought a ticket). Use the toggle.

Pricing

Ketchup is free to use. Ticket buyers pay the processing and service fee on top of the admission price — processing fees are 2.9% and service fees are $1.76 + 3.7%. We expect to reduce the fees as we grow, and pass along the preferable pricing we might receive from the processors.

Tickets

We got everything you expect and more! You can sell Admission tickets and Extras. Extras are tickets which require an admission ticket in order to purchase them (we don't want people buying the VIP upsell without the GA ticket, right?!). Tickets can have a single price, sliding scale price, or Partycule price. See descriptions below.

You set a min, a max, and a suggested anchor. The attendee sees a slider with pricing options between min and max. They pick, pay, they're in.

We want people to spread the word. We know people won't go to the event unless their friends are going. We know price is a big purchase blocker. Why not address all three together? Partycule tickets allow you to offer a bundle of X tickets for $Y. Events who've used Partycule tickets see high adoption, sharing behaviors (people coordinating purchases), and higher LTV (people buying extra tickets).

Yes! We call them Extras. Extras are great for selling things on top of admission tickets: meal-passes, merch, parking passes, upgrades. What makes an Extra unique on Ketchup, is that people can only purchase an Extra if they are buying or previously bought an admission ticket. Here's a wiki on how to buy an extra if the attendee purchased a ticket in a previous transaction.

There are many ways to get to your ticket.

  1. Search your devices for the ticket confirmation, both in email and SMS. Searching the event name should work.
  2. Go to the event page, and click "Already purchased? View tickets" at the bottom of the page

You can check people in using a QR code scanning and manual search by name, phone number. We've specifically built the check-in experience with the assumption that one-off volunteers will work your door. Here's how simple it is:

  • ✖️ no app to download
  • ✖️ no requirement to add them as admins in the system
  • ✖️ no access to business information (revenue, tickets)
  • ✖️ no access to PII (full name, full phone number)

Read our wiki for instructions on checking people at the door.

Attendees can transfer tickets directly to other people by clicking "transfer" on their ticket and sending it to someone else. You're not involved, but you'll see the details of the transfer in your dashboard. Note that Ketchup doesn't facilitate transfer of funds between people.

You can collect information per attendee or per purchase, including name, phone number, and email. You can ask questions (short form, long form, multiple-choice) and require ticket buyers to accept your additional terms and conditions. Ticket buyers will not be able to view their tickets until they answer all the required questions.

Click "add attendee" on your dashboard, choose the ticket you want to assign and add the guest's information. They will receive a confirmation email and text with a link to their ticket.

We're young. The honest list:

Native attendee app — mobile web works great, no app yet. H2 2026.

Multi-currency — USD only today. CAD, GBP, EUR by summer.

Comms

Yes! For transactional comms, you can use our email system to send messages. Our system allows you to send comms to all or specific ticket holders.

Payouts

Every week or two, straight to your bank, via ACH. No 14-day hold. No "after the event ends" gating.

You set the refund policy, which is displayed on your website so the attendee sees it before purchase. Make sure you follow local and federal regulations, of course. To process a refund, find the ticket in your dashboard and click "refund". The refund will be returned to the attendees' original form of payment. Fees are also refundable.

Your tickets

Three places: your inbox (confirmation email with "Add to Wallet" button), your phone wallet (Apple/Google Wallet with QR), or the ticket link itself (bookmark it).

Lost the email? Head to tickets.wannaketchup.com, enter your purchase email, we'll resend.

Check spam (search "ketchup" or the event name). If it's not there, the email field likely had a typo. Email help@wannaketchup.com with event name, last 4 of the card, and your full name — sorted within the hour in US business hours.

Transfers & refunds

Open your ticket, tap Transfer, enter their email. They get an email with the ticket; your version goes invalid. Free, instant, no producer approval needed.

Open your ticket → Request refund. The producer set the policy when they listed the event; you can see it on the event page. Most approve within 24 hours.

Extras

Open your ticket → tap Add extras. Anything the producer offers — plus-ones, t-shirts, meal upgrades, parking — shows up there. One tap, charged to card on file, ticket updates instantly.
